The Ciphertext Representation#

At the core of the USEncrypt® library is the Ciphertext representation, which is a collection of custom objects designed to represent and store encrypted data.

These rely on the usencrypt.cipher.Ciphertext abstract class, which defines their behavior. This abstract class serves as the building block for the main classes defined by USEncrypt®, all of which map to a corresponding data type as outlined below:

This mapping is done by using the provided usencrypt.encrypt() and usencrypt.decrypt() functions. Further, each class has its own set of corresponding utility functions. For more information, please refer to the Python API section
